If you have a small bedroom, buy space-saving beds like storage beds. Storage beds have built-in drawers you can use to put in beddings, socks and other things to clear some closet space. Bunk beds are fun alternatives to twin beds. They serve the same purpose but take up half the size. A good bed for guest rooms would be daybeds with pullouts, allowing you to take in visitors.
Double beds are also known as full-size beds. It was the standard mattress size for couples until the early 1900s. Afterwards, couples prefer at least a queen-size bed or, better yet, a king-size for maximum comfort.
As you enter in a bedroom, the first one you notice and must see is the bed. This thing is a very important one for it completes the room. There are more than fifty variety of bed frames design, you may choose from modern frames, metal frames, sleigh bed frames, wood bed frames, loft bed frames, leather bed frames, king bed frames, queen bed frames, upholstered frames, etc that suits your style, character and of course your bedroom decor. Single bed frames and double frames are the main two classifications of bed frames.
But double beds aren"t for small spaces only. If you"ve got a large room and you want it stylish, two doubles are a good alternative to bunk beds or the usual queen or king beds. Place a large and eye-catching headboard or artwork at the center of your room"s main wall. Put a night table below the headboard or artwork. Place your two beds on either side of the table. This will be the focal point of your room. You can work your accessories and all the other décor around this centerpiece.
