Eyelet heading curtains have an even number of metal rimmed eyelets regularly spaced across the width of the curtains. The spaces between the edges of the first/last eyelet and the edge of the curtain are generally half of that of subsequent eyelets. There should be a gap or around 4cm between the inner edge at the top of the eyelet and the top edge of the curtain. Eyelets are available in a choice of colours and sizes. The curtain is threaded onto a suitable pole, concertina fashion, with the edges of the curtain facing the wall. This ensures that the lining is not visible when the curtains are hanging. The even eyelet spacing gives equal folds of fabric in front and behind the pole.
I'll bet that there aren't that many of us who have ever given much thought to the fast paced world of the curtain fashion industry. Few of us know of the thrill and excitement of new, experimental window treatments, and the curious adrenalin rush of exotic paint colours emerging. The creative use of accessories and unusual combinations of materials can result in imaginative curtain designs that help to stamp your unique signature on your house and make it your home.
If you see a great pattern or color that you absolutely must have, yet you have some serious doubts about whether or not the curtains will be thick enough to block out the light at night and in the mornings, you have two options available to you. One of these is ensuring that you can line the curtains with another layer of fabric, which is often the case with many budget and designer curtain fabric products. You can do this lining yourself, or by paying a professional a small fee to do so for you.
People frequently use box pleated-curtains in their bedrooms as they look neat and give your bedroom a customised look. Although these-curtains are more expensive than plain-curtains, but they definitely add an elegant look to your bedroom design.
