The best way to determine what size your dining table should be would be to measure the room and ensure that there will be at least three to four feet on each side of the table for people to push their chairs back and stand up comfortably. Setting a small, dainty table in a large and spacious room will be too overwhelming in the room, therefore making the table look smaller than it actually is.
